This week, the first week of Advent, Pastor Tim dives into a section of Scripture that is often skipped over - the genealogy of Jesus in Matthew 1. Tim looks at a few of the names on the list, some of whom are names most families would not include in order to keep their good name. Yet, Jesus lineage includes Kings, Prostitutes, and those who used sex to exploit and manipulate. If Jesus were a fraud, His family tree would have been sanitized.
